Clement is a contemporary painter, based in Winchester, Virginia. Working within acrylic, and mixed media, created by hand. His paintings create a scene of human perspective on effort, ambition, struggle, & passion.

His practice began as an observation in the world, from people to the intangible emotions of what it means to be human.

His work has been acquired by private collectors throughout the Washington DC region. Currently, he is working on a second piece in his collection -"TO DO LIST"- that focuses on the every day, and the perspective it draws out.

The large format for the artwork is not accidental, to look at a large piece requires space. Clement creates the space to allow the viewer to understand the perspective, to feel what he is trying to tell. He does, though, have smaller pieces, to invite closeness, and intimacy.

"I consider myself as an observer of the world, with the opportunity to capture what makes people, people. I seek to create bold pieces that are raw, intentional, and express human nature."

The layers that are required, not just for the creation of the art piece, but also for the story that is embellished behind it. It never starts with the paint, each piece created is born from intention, a reason to lift the brush.
