"Art Has Intention... It Truly Has No Limit, No Direction, It Is A Beautiful Form Of Madness"
The Emergence of the Artist
"My journey began as an artist long before I even picked up the pencil. As a young boy, everything I laid eyes on fascinated me. My curiosity was always getting the better of me. My desire to break things down, observe each individual part and marvel at its components caused me to have an observant eye."
"With this focus, I was able to replicate what I saw in different forms and manners which led me, a few years later, to start imprinting these concepts onto paper. This is when I discovered the art of creation or at that time, my art of replication."
Why Create?
"One of my biggest reasons for art was that it was a form of communication-To convey thoughts and feelings about certain things as clearly as possible. As I got older, it went from a means of communication to a way to connect. I found that I could reach others through art in ways that words could not express. It became my preferred means of communication."
"Art is not tangible; there’s no structure, no boundaries. It starts from an idea to a reality when fully expressed. It doesn’t have to be expressed on a canvas. And as I became older I began to understand art in various forms. The canvas became just one of the methods."
"I see myself as an observer of the world, with the opportunity to capture moments in the real world. I always carry a small sketchbook with me to capture these unexpected scenes. My intention is to be able to create bold pieces that are raw and intentional. The subtlety and details are what makes it beautiful."
"My goal is to achieve the raw and complex nature of these artworks. The intricacies and layers that are required, not just for the creation of the art piece, but also for the story that is embellished behind it. I don't just paint for the sake. I simply don’t know how to.
The Difference
"More than just a way of life, my goal is to be able to capture moments as best as I can, for others to be able to appreciate and feel seen. I think for me, that would bring me my greatest joy and it's what I'm striving as an artist to reach."
